We're a family operated company born out of a passion for traditional pubs, great people, and authentic charm. Based in the north west, Stange now rests in the hands of our fourth generation remaining true to our belief that the local pub sits at the heart of the community.

Great people, service and products are at the heart of everything we do. We use local and regional suppliers wherever possible to support local business as well as reducing our food miles. Our homemade dishes are produced on site using fresh seasonal ingredients. Our teams are given plenty of say on how things are done, making sure our pubs stay unique, different and a little quirky.
Forging a future for generations to come
We’re not out to reinvent the wheel, Michelin stars aren’t really our thing and we’re not aiming to have 500 pubs in five years’ time, but what we do aim to achieve is a group of cracking character pubs run by a passionate team providing quality food, drink and hospitality, and adding a pub or two as we go. And if we can all have a little fun, a pint or G&T along the way, so much the better.
'Rome wasn't built in a day'
We've got a quirky collection of pubs that can be found in Wirral, north and mid Wales, some dating back to as early as the 18th century. Acquired over a number of years, we can definitely say it was an eclectic collection in the early days, however over a number of years and with a lot of hard work has gradually evolved into a quality group of local community pubs (well we think so anyway!).
We like to invest in the future of our company in more ways than one.
Our team is our greatest asset, and we are committed to investing in their growth and development. We prioritise promoting from within whenever possible, encouraging our staff to challenge themselves, advance their skills, and reach their full potential.
At the same time, the unique character of our historic buildings requires ongoing reinvestment of both time and resources to preserve their charm and maintain the high standards we hold ourselves to.
